TROY, Ohio (WDTN) – New charges are now filed against two people connected to the disappearance and death of a Tipp City man.
Hope Earnshaw-York and her boyfriend, Richard Terrel, now face receiving stolen property charges.
The new charges are piled on to much more serious charges.
Terrel is charged with the murder of William York, Sr. He was reported missing from his home on May 30. His body was found in Kentucky five days later.
Earnshaw-York is charged with gross abuse of a corpse.
Prosecuctors say the couple stole guns that York reported missing before his disappearance. They say Earnshaw-York and Terrel were also stopped while driving York’s pickup truck.
Arraignments are scheduled for the week of July 13.
