Sirens sound after fire captain spots funnel cloud

GREENE COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) – Outdoor warning sirens sounded Friday night across Greene County after a fire captain spots what appears to be a funnel cloud.

The sirens went off around 8:30 p.m. Friday night. There were no severe weather alerts issued by the National Weather Service at the time.

According to the Greene County dispatch center, the sirens went off after a Cedarville Township Fire Captain spotted what appeared to be a funnel cloud southeast of Cedarville.
