Police arrest man for weekend shooting death

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Dayton police arrested a man in connection to a fatal shooting Sunday, July 19.

Timothy Thaler, 39, was arrested Tuesday for the death of Horace Gullate.

Gullate was found shot to death on a sidewalk outside of 233 West Parkwood Avenue.

Police say the two men were fighting at the time of the shooting.

The case is now in the hands of prosecutors who will decide on what, if any, charges will be filed.
