Wig drive aims to help local chemo patients

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Dayton Trichology Hair Loss Control Clinic and Inifinitee Salon teamed up to help collect and style wigs for women who have lost their hair due to chemo.

The wigs will be given away to free of charge to women who may not have access to finances to otherwise obtain one. This is the fifth wig drive for the organizations. Last year the drive collected about 100 wigs that were then donated to cancer patients.

The wig drop off locations are Dayton Trichology Hair Loss Control Center at 5250 Far Hills Avenue, Suite 218 and Infinitee Salon Spa at 3594 Salem Avenue.

The drive runs through August 1. Contact either business with questions about the wig drive and how to get involved.
