Blood drive in honor of Englewood police officer

ENGLEWOOD, Ohio (WDTN) – A blood driver will be held in honor of an Englewood police officer who died after a long battle with cancer.

The family of Bill Davenport is holding the 4th annual memorial blood drive at the Englewood Government Center from 3 to 7 p.m.

Davenport served the city of Englewood for nearly 38 years before he died in 2011 after a 10-year-long battle with cancer.
