Dream Flight lands at WPAFB

Dream Flight comes to WPAFB

WRIGHT PATTERSON AFB, Ohio (WDTN) – A dream adventure for students from Atlanta and across the U.S. here in the Miami Valley.

The Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals and Delta Airlines brought them on a Delta Dream Flight to the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force and Wright Patterson Air Force Base.

Organizers hope the kids learn about the nation’s history and aviation career opportunities available to them.

“We get to show them what we do that we’re passionate about and we show them a lot of different aspects of aviation so they can decide whether or not it’s something we want to pursue and generally we have students just beaming all day long,” said First Officer Stephanie Johnson with Delta Airlines.

About 150 students from all over the country were on the Dream Flight.
