HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) – The first day of school for students in the Huber Heights City School District is Thursday, August 13th.

This year, the district is bringing back elementary art instruction. Those positions were cut several years ago due to budget restraints.

Katie Ussin also talked to Superintendent Susan Gunnell about the possibility of a levy on the November ballot. The district chose not to put a levy before voters in May. Voters have not approved a school levy in Huber Heights since 2005.
