ORANGE TWP., Ohio (WDTN) – The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal crash.

Crews were called to Kirkwood Road and Route 25A around 2:00 p.m. Friday.

Deputies tell the Sidney Daily News that the truck driver, John Coyle, of Converse, Indiana, did not stop at a stop sign.  The motorcyclist, Shawn Hill, 39, of Piqua, then hit the side of the truck.  Hill was dead at the scene.

Investigators say Coyle did not stop after the crash.  He was pulled over a short time later in downtown Sidney.  Coyle apparently did not realize the motorcycle hit his rig.
