NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A small plane caught fire at Nashville International Airport early Friday morning.
It happened around 7 a.m.
The plane was being moved to the gate so people could board. When the pilots started the engines and auxiliary power, flames burst out from one of the engines.
Pilots cut the power and the fire immediately went out.
The plane, which was a SkyWest Airlines flight, was then towed back to the gate.
Officials with BNA said the airport is working to get people onto a new plane to Cincinnati.
No injuries were reported. Passengers were booked onto another flight.
