DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Seven animals were pulled from a Dayton home Friday afternoon.

The Montgomery County Animal Resource Center served a warrant at 24 McClure Street on reports of ongoing animal cruelty.

Rescuers called the police to assist when they saw the poor conditions in the home.

Four dogs and three cats were removed. No one was home at the time.

The condition of the animals is unknown. However, officials say the animals will require “considerable medical attention” before they can be adopted.

It is unclear whether the homeowner will face charges.
