Former UD coach charged in fatal crash

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A former University of Dayton coach is now charged in connection to a fatal crash in April.

The Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office confirms to 2 NEWS that Paul Ivkovich is charged with two counts of aggravated vehicular homicide.

Investigators say he was behind the wheel when he crashed at Third and Keowee streets during the early morning hours on Thursday, April 30.

His passenger, Sharon Crawford, 48, of Kettering, was killed. Ivkovich was not seriously hurt.

Ivkovich was the head strength conditioning coach in the Athletics Department at the time.
