DES MOINES, Iowa (WDTN) – A parade of presidential candidates are stopping at the Iowa State Fair this week and Ohio Governor John Kasich is among them.

He took his presidential bid to the iconic fair soapbox.  The forum allows candidates to talk with a large number of voters in a highly political town.

Kasich is fresh off an endorsement by Alabama Governor Robert Bentley.

Other Republicans that already stumped at the Iowa State Fair include frontrunner Donald Trump, Marco Rubio, Carly Fiorino and Scott Walker. Rick Perry, Ted Cruz, Chris Christie and Bobby Jindal are all scheduled over the course of the week.

Democrat Hillary Clinton made a stop there as well over the weekend. She is also now scheduled to appear on The Ellen Show in September.
