COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) – An Ohio board is slated to decide how ballot issues will be phrased this fall when voters decide the fate of marijuana legalization, redistricting changes and restrictions aimed at keeping monopolies or cartels from being added to the state constitution.

The state Ballot Board is scheduled to meet Tuesday to approve ballot language and receive explanations and arguments for all three statewide initiatives up for a vote on Nov. 3.

One proposal seeks to legalize marijuana for medicinal and recreational use. It would allow adults 21 and over to buy marijuana and would establish a network of 10 authorized growing locations around Ohio.

A separate fall ballot issue takes aim at the growing sites described in the proposed amendment, while another proposal would overhaul how state legislative districts are drawn.
