WASHINGTON, D.C. (AP) – Small businesses in eight western Ohio counties are eligible for low-interest disaster loans as the result of months of heavy rain and flooding.

The U.S. Small Business Administration says businesses and farms affected can borrow up to $2 million after those counties were recently declared disaster areas because of rain and flooding that began in early May.

The counties included are Butler, Darke, Defiance, Hamilton, Mercer, Paulding, Preble and Van Wert.
