One dead, child injured after several crashes in DaytonDAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — One person is dead and a child is seriously injured after a series of crashes in Dayton.

Police were dispatched to several crash scenes Saturday night. A crash scene was established at First and Keowee, and another scene was located at Third and Jefferson. The largest crash appears to have happened in the 700 block of East Monument.

The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim as Kirstin Burton, 22, of Medway.

Dayton firefighters said the 14-month-old child was taken to Dayton Children’s with serious injuries. The child was riding in the same vehicle as Burton.

Four other people were injured in the crashes and taken to Miami Valley Hospital.

Police believe all three crash scenes may be connected. Police are still investigating all three accidents.
