Man gets 2 years in prison for motorcycle death

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The man who pleaded guilty in a fatal motorcycle crash was sentenced in Montgomery County court Tuesday for a 2014 motorcycle crash that killed a Farmersville woman.

Hawks received two years in prison and his license was suspended for six years.

Jeremy Hawks pleaded guilty in July to vehicular homicide charges for a crash that killed Rhonda Boyer, 52, of Farmersville. She was the passenger on a motorcycle driven by an off-duty Dayton police officer.
