DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The children at Kiser PreK-8 school in Dayton have a new outdoor classroom of sorts.

A new garden and natural play area was dedicated Tuesday.

The garden was planted on the school grounds last year and has now bloomed into a brightly colored educational opportunity.

The garden is full of flowers and vegetables. It gives the students hands-on experience in growing healthy foods and other plants.

The garden was paid for partly from corporate donations and a grant from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.
