Huber Heights doctor slows case down

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A Huber Heights doctor accused of rape waived his right to a speedy trial Wednesday.

Dr. Robert Hunter is due back in court on September 23.

He is charged with rape, kidnapping and abduction.

Five Rivers Metroparks officers arrested Hunter on July 29.

He is accused of raping the victim inside a car parked at the Taylorsville Metropark on July 15.

He pleaded not guilty. Hunter is out of jail after posting $100,000 bond.
