Police: Man run over may have been intentional


WAPAKONETA, Ohio (WDTN) – Police in Wapakoneta are looking for a driver who ran over a pedestrian.

Tuesday evening police were called to an accident with injuries at North and Brighthorn Streets. When they got there they found a pedestrian had been hit by a vehicle.

Police soon learned through witness interviews and investigation that the pedestrian could have been run over intentionally.

The victim is 32-year-old Michael Angel from Lima. Angel was taken to St. Rita’s Medical Center with serious injuries.

The case is still under investigation and no arrests have been made.
