Sugarcreek doctor accused of running pill mill

SUGARCREEK TWP., Ohio (WDTN) – A Sugarcreek Township doctor is charged with running a pill mill of out his office.

A Greene County grand jury indicted Dr. John Moore on 44 criminal counts including trafficking prescription drugs from his facility, theft, Medicaid fraud, forgery and engaging in corrupt activity between February 2009 and September 2014.

WDTN.com first told you about a raid at the Synergistic Health Centers on North Lakeman Drive back in early June 2014.

Several law enforcement agencies executed a search warrant at the office. Warrants were also served that same day at three other locations.

Dr. Moore is not in jail.  He is scheduled into court for an arraignment on September 11.
