Severe thunderstorm warning expired

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A severe thunderstorm warning that was issued for Auglaize, Mercer, and Shelby Counties has expired.

We have called the counties affected by the storms Friday and they tell us the only have a few branches down and they are not aware of any major damage or injuries.

This storm had the potential for winds to 60 m.p.h., penny-size hail, and heavy rain may cause some minor flooding. We will keep an eye on this situation and keep you updating.

There is still a flood advisory in effect until 5:30 Friday evening for Auglaize and Mercer Counties.
