MIAMISBURG, Ohio (WDTN) – There is now a target date to re-open a historic Miamisburg theater.

The Dayton Business Journal reports that the group renovating the Plaza Theater on Main Street hopes to have it open on November 28.

The building closed as a theater about 50 years ago. A group of community leaders is pushing to redevelop it.

They need $350,000 to open the theater.  They still need to raise about $100,000.
