Richmond suspect chased down in Preble County

EATON, Ohio (WDTN) – A man accused of stabbing his girlfriend in Richmond took police on a chase into Preble County Wednesday afternoon.

The suspect was pursued by Richmond police and the Ohio State Highway Patrol along I-70 eastbound.  Troopers finally in stopped the pickup using stop sticks in Preble County.

The suspect was arrested on fleeing and eluding charges and hauled off to the Preble County Jail.

The stabbing incident in Richmond that triggered the chase is under investigation.
