Driver arrested after crash, sobriety test

The crash came in just after midnight at Brandt Pike and Texas Avenue.

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A driver is taken into custody early Tuesday morning after crashing is car and undergoing a field sobriety test.

The crash came in just after midnight at Brandt Pike and Texas Avenue.

The driver hit a power pole, damaging it. A woman in the car was taken by medic to the hospital. No word on her condition.

2 NEWS observed the driver on the scene taking a field sobriety test.

Afterwards, police put him in handcuffs and placed him in the back of a cruiser.

The crash is still under investigation.
