MORAINE, Ohio (WDTN) – A street in Moraine will have a new name Thursday.

The city will hold a dedication ceremony to turn Hoyle Place into Fuyao Avenue.

The move is in honor of the massive investment made by the auto glass manufacturing company, more than $360 million, as it revamps part of the old General Motors plant.

“The city is grateful to have worked with many local, regional and state partners to secure one of the largest ever direct foreign investments in this country and we believe this is one of many ways that we can honor Fuyao and share our appreciation to both the chairman and Fuyao team,” said Moraine Mayor Elaine Allison.

Fuyao Avenue provides access to the main corporate entrance way.

The ceremony begins at 11:30 a.m.
