DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – It is not every day that an accordion goes missing and causes a stir, but Dayton police hope you might help find one.

Officers released a flyer to the media Wednesday for a man making a plea to find his beloved instrument.

Joe Novak writes on his flyer that his Mikus button accordion was lost after a performance at Dayton’s Czech Club on Sunday, September 13.

He thinks he left it on the side of the road along Route 4 north of Stanley Avenue and south of Interstate 70.

Novak is offering a reward for its return.
