Classic car cruise-in benefits children with cancer

SPRINGBORO, Ohio (WDTN) — A weekend classic car cruise-in benefits a good cause.

Hausfeld’s Classics in Springboro held its grand re-opening Saturday afternoon and wanted to give back to the community. Business owners reached out to Moms 4 Miracles, a group helping raise money for children with cancer.

Organizers said it was rewarding to open their doors and hearts for a good cause.

“Our community is so giving and it just means the world, I know, to children with cancer and their families. I’ve said it before, no child should have to have cancer, no one should have to have cancer, but especially a child. And we just want to do everything we can to help children and help families locally,” stated Moms 4 Miracles founder Sallie Taylor.

So far, Moms 4 Miracles has raised about $100,000 for children with cancer and are working to fund a new chemotherapy room in the new wing at Dayton Children’s Hospital.
