Dayton Police investigate break-in and theft at LA Tan

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Dayton Police are looking for a suspect who broke in to a business and stole over $120 from several cash registers.  L.A. Tan located on the 500 block of Wilmington Ave was broke into after midnight Sunday morning.

Surveillance video shows a black male, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt entering the store through a broken glass door.  He pried open a cash register and stole over $66, he then pried another register and took $61.  The suspect fled the scene through the broken doors.

Police say the suspect appears to be a black male, approximately 5’9″ tall, weighing around 200 pounds with short brown hair.

Police are still investigating.
