DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A Montgomery county judge has extended the temporary restraining order on a Huber Heights bar.

Kricket’s Tavern is able to reopen under certain conditions. Management must add security, install lighting to its parking lot and ban loitering outside of the bar. Under court order the bar now has new operating hours, from 10am to 11pm. The establishment must make the changes before November 5 when legal counsel from Huber Heights and Kricket’s Tavern are to meet again at the courthouse.

Krickets Tavern in Huber Heights has been under a restraining order since a September 27 that killed 19 year old Joshua Hamilton. Huber Heights Police got a judge to sign a restraining order closing the bar while police and city leaders try to close it down for good.

20-year-old Michael Scott is being held on $1 million bond and is facing charges of murder and felonious assault.
