WEST CARROLLTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Hundreds of people got the Halloween festivities started Thursday night in West Carrollton.
The annual Monster Mash celebration offered a costume parade and hayrides carnival games and more.
Dozens lined the streets for the Lion’s Club costume parade with prizes awarded to the best costumes in several age groups.
“It gives the community a sense of being together. It gives people the chance to get to know our police officers. It lets them meet a few of our city workers and it brings people together and it shows that people do support their community,” said Maggie Beck, events coordinator for the city.
Prizes for the event were donated by local Kroger stores.
