Germantown man gets 2 years in prison for fatal crash

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – 33-year-old Todd England was sentenced in Montgomery County Court Thursday for an August crash that killed his passenger.

England will spend two years in prison and his driver’s license will be suspended for seven years. He is also ordered by the court to pay $1000 in restitution.

40-year-old Tonya Boyd-DeMorest was killed when the car England was driving struck a tree on West Third Street in Dayton on August 7.

England was indicted by a Montgomery County grand jury on aggravated vehicular homicide and drug charges.
