XENIA, Ohio (WDTN) – It’s time to rake your leaves to the curb if you want the City of Xenia to pick them up.
City leaders announced Thursday they will be traveling the streets of Xenia to collect leaves that have been raked to the curb, but they will only come around one time.
The City reminds residents that cars parked too closely to the leaf piles or debris in the piles will prevent them from collecting the leaves. Leaves that have not been raked to the curb will not be collected.
They also remind people leaves can be bagged or mulched. Rumpke will also take up to 14 bags per house each week on regular collection days. If none of those options work for you, the Greene County Recycling Center on Greene Way Boulevard will take your bagged leaves, you just have to take them there.
