Buckeyes quarterback cited for OVI

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WDTN) — OSU quarterback J.T. Barrett was cited for OVI overnight.

According to a statement from the Ohio Department of Athletics, he was cited at a campus area checkpoint Saturday morning.

The sophomore quarterback has been suspended for the next Buckeyes game.

Our partners at WCMH report that Cardale Jones will likely be the starting quarterback for the next Ohio State game against Minnesota on November 7.
