Deputies arrest 2 burglary suspects

HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) — Two burglary suspects were caught in the act by Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputies.

Deputies were dispatched to the 200 block of Hornwood Drive after 9 a.m. Friday after an alarm sounded.

When they arrived, they found that a home had been broken into and discovered two suspects in the backyard.

A deputy was able to apprehend one of the suspects, but the other suspect ran.

A K9 was called in.

A Sheriff’s Office detective caught the second suspect a couple hours later in the area of North Main Street and Greenhill Road.

Craig Caldwell and Alonte Hill were arrested on charges of burglary. They were booked into jail and are scheduled to appear in court Monday.
