MIAMISBURG, Ohio (WDTN) — Three missing juveniles were found during a traffic stop.

Troopers stopped their vehicle after 2 a.m. Saturday on State Route 725 and State Route 741 for a stop light violation.

Troopers said the driver was impaired. Officials gave the driver a field sobriety test and then arrested him for OVI. Officials said the three female passengers inside the vehicle were uncooperative and didn’t give troopers their correct names or birth dates.

With the help of Miami Township Police, troopers determined the juveniles had been listed as runaways out of Montgomery County.

The girls were safe and weren’t harmed.

The incident remains under investigation. No word on whether the juveniles will be cited or face charges. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
