PIQUA, Ohio (WDTN) — Piqua Police are investigating a shooting in the Shawnee neighborhood.
Our partners at the Piqua Daily Call report that police were called to 628 Second Street just after 9:30 p.m. Saturday on reports of a person threatening to shoot someone.
When officers arrived, they found a victim shot in the hand.
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment. Police said the victim’s injury doesn’t appear to be life-threatening.
A .38 caliber revolver was recovered at the scene.
Police said they had a hard time gathering information because the people in the home were hysterical.
No one has been arrested and officers are still trying to gather details. The shooting remains under investigation.
