DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Dayton Police responded to a Family Dollar on the report of a break-in.

Officers were called to the store located at 440 North James H McGee Boulevard after 12:30 a.m. Sunday after an alarm sounded.

When police arrived, they found the security door half rolled up and a window shattered. Police didn’t believe anyone made it inside the business.

The assistant manager told police another worker didn’t close the security door properly, which caused it to jam in that position. Police were able to help the assistant manager fix the security door to get it to shut.

Right now there is no suspect information, and police are still investigating.
