Police searching for suspects from RTA token machine theft

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) Police are searching for two suspects who broke in and stole from an RTA token machine on October 5th just after 2:00 a.m. The machine is located at 122 Elmhurst Rd. in Dayton at the West Town RTA Hub.

Surveillance video captured three men breaking into the machine. On the video, the men can be seen using a tool on the machine, then leaving and returning with a different tool. The group comes and goes three times during the roughly 45 minute incident successfully getting into the machine and getting away with the cash.

All three suspects are wearing dark hoodies, gloves and have their faces covered. They uncover their faces briefly a couple times, which can be seen in the photos below.

If anyone can recognize these suspects, or has any information, call Crime Stoppers at 222-STOP.
