FLUSHING, Ohio (WCMH) — Authorities have canceled an Amber Alert Thursday afternoon after two boys have been found safe after they were allegedly abducted by their mother.
The updated alert said, “Children and suspect have been located and the children are safe.” No other information is available Thursday afternoon.
According to dispatchers, Wednesday night, Mandy Myers, age 37, took her sons, ages 6 and 8, and left their home in Flushing, Ohio.
Later in the evening, the father came home to find a suicide note, and the mother and sons missing.
Justin Daymon Myer, age 6, is described as a white male, with brown hair and blue eyes, approximately 4 feet 1 inch tall, and weighing 45 pounds.
His brother, Kyle Robert Race, age 8, is described as a white male, with blond hair and green eyes, 4 feet 1 inch tall, and weighing 80 pounds.
The suspect, Mandy Myer, is described as a white female with brown hair and brown eyes. Myers is said to be driving a 2002 dark blue Dodge Caravan with Ohio license plate number FOZ2668.
