Police called to Rite Aid for robbery

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Police are investigating a robbery at a Dayton drugstore.

Officers were called to the Rite Aid located at 1158 Wilmington Avenue Friday after 8:30 p.m.

According to a worker, two men walked into the store and one of them grabbed a basket. One of the men then loaded the basket with candy, activity trackers, a selfie stick, and a few speakers. The worker said the men then tried to leave without paying for the item,s and when she tried to stop them, they pushed her out of the way and ran out of the store.

A witness reported seeing the suspects leave in a getaway car.
