PIQUA, Ohio (WDTN) — Police investigate two separate scenes after a man is shot in Piqua.
According to our partners at the Piqua Daily Call, police were called to the 200 block of S. Main Street after shots were fired. Police also taped off an area near the 300 block of S. Main Street.
Police said a 35-year-old Piqua man was shot in the 200 block of S. Main Street shortly before 6 p.m. on Saturday. Police believe evidence then may have been discarded a block down the street.
The victim was taken to Upper Valley Medical Center and then transferred to Miami Valley Hospital via CareFlight.
Police said one person is being questioned but, at this point, no charges have been filed.
Police are continuing to investigate and are investigating witnesses.
