DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A woman was arrested for reportedly trying to break into The Glen at St. Joseph.

Police were dispatched to 611 St. Joseph Avenue before 11 p.m. Friday.

Stacy Salyers, 32, was arrested on charges of attempted burglary, resisting arrest, obstructing official business, and failure to disclose information.

According to officials, Salyers ran onto the property past the gate and tried to get into buildings and kick down doors. A security officer said Salyers also took a scooter and tried to use it to break down a door to a building. She was never able to get inside.

Police said when they arrived, Salyers wouldn’t disclose her information. They reported she also tried to kick them when she was in custody.

Salyers was transported and booked into the Montgomery County Jail. Officials said jail staff had to restrain her when she was being booked because she became disorderly.

She’s expected in court Monday.
