Jesse Whitaker sentenced Tuesday

FAIRBORN, Ohio (WDTN) – The 20-year-old convicted as a juvenile in the death of three Bellbrook teens was sentenced in Dayton Municipal Court Tuesday.

Jesse Whitaker was sentenced to one-year probation and community service for an underage drinking charge in April.

Jesse Whitaker was arrested in April for underage drinking at the University of Dayton. A month before that he was arrested on an OVI offense on US 35 in Beavercreek.

Whitaker pleaded guilty in that case and was sentenced to house arrest and three years of probation.

Tuesday’s court appearance is scheduled to be a hearing before formal sentencing. Whitaker had been previously ordered to wear an alcohol monitor while out of jail.
