DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Dayton police served a search warrant today at an apartment complex known to be a problem area .

Police raided an apartment in the three-thousand block of Superba Court where they found about 15-hundred dollars worth of heroin and cocaine, and also discovered two thousand dollars in cash.

Officials say that tips from the community lead them to the home that has continued to cause problems.

“Seems like every time we get a hold of it and get it down, tamped down a bit, move on to somewhere else, it seems like they spring back here,” says Sgt. Kelly Hamilton of the Street Crimes Unit. “This is the third warrant we’ve done at this particular apartment complex in the last three to four months.”

One person was taken into custody during the raid.
