Local wildlife areas set to release pheasants for hunting

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Ring-necked pheasants will be released on the evening of December 18th, and will be available to hunt the following morning.

About 250 birds will be let loose on Rush Road and Ceasar Creek Wildlife Areas. Hunting hours are from sunrise to sunset.

Pheasant hunting season runs through January 10th.
