OVI Checkpoint location to be announced Saturday

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The Combined Agency OVI Task Force of Montgomery County will operate a checkpoint Saturday in Dayton.

This effort was announced earlier in the week.

The specific location will not be announced until sometime Saturday morning.

Officers from the Dayton Police Department and the Combined Agency OVI Task Force will participate in the roadside checks.

Officials say the majority of the deadliest crashes occur on weekends. Drivers are reminded to buckle up and avoid impaired driving.
