OXFORD, Ohio (WDTN) – Oxford Police arrested one man after they received reports of a suspicious man approaching middle school children.
On December 16, 2015, around 3:30 p.m., the Oxford Division of Police received information about a suspicious adult male approaching middle school aged children during their walk home from school.
According to the four juvenile male victims, the man attempted to lure them into a wooded area in the 1100 block of South Locust St.
The juveniles never followed the man into the woods but ran from the area and told adults about the incident.
A report was filed with OPD and police say after an investigation they arrested 46-year-old Franklin T. McAllister.
McAllister was arrested and charged with four counts of Criminal Child Enticement, which is a misdemeanor of the first degree. McAllister was then taken to the Butler County Jail.
