Sugarcreek store evacuated for gas leak

SUGARCREEK TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) – Sugarcreek dispatchers say the Kohl’s store Wilmington Pike was evacuated around lunch time Monday due to a possible gas leak.

The store was evacuated just before noon Monday. The store is now open to customers again.

Dispatchers told 2 NEWS Vectren was on the scene investigating and Sugarcreek Township Emergency Management also responded to that location.

The store is located at 6400 Wilmington Pike. If your holiday shopping plans included this store or others in that area of WImiington Pike you might want to wait a little while.
