WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) – The Woodland Lights at Washington Township Recreation Center told 2 NEWS they will cancel the displays Wednesday night due to the threat of severe weather.

The decision to keep the lights off Wednesday came from weather and fears that people would be inclined to stay home because of the weather.

The display of holiday lights opened December 4 and runs through December 30 with the only scheduled closings to be Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Tonight was to be the last night for Santa. Their regular scheduled hours are from 6 PM to 9 PM.
