Fun for New Year’s Eve at Scene 75


VANDALIA, Ohio (WDTN) – The countdown to the new year is already beginning, and many places across the Miami Valley are ready to ring in 2016.

There are different bars and businesses where residents can either watch the ball drop in Times Square in New York City or watch a different ball drop live in places like Austin Landing.

Scene 75 is one venue offering a place for everyone in the family to have fun.

The event start at 9 P.M., Thursday,and just before the clock strikes midnight, there will be a countdown to a balloon drop.

This activity will be for adults only, compared to other years where Scene 75 allowed children to participate.

But organizers say moms and dads shouldn’t worry; kids can still tag along to the venue.

There will be all types of fun and games for the little ones, where they can win various prizes for the night.

“Throughout the whole day, actually, we have a lucky New Year’s Eve prize wheel so anyone who purchases a New Year’s Eve $50 Scene 75 card gets a free spin on the wheel and they can win a chance to get a (PlayStation 4) PS4,” explained Sean Cope, vice president of marketing for Scene 75. “They can win a redemption prize; they can win tickets, arcade cash, or even some awesome New Year’s Eve accessories.”
